Skip the vague strategy paragraph and the 30-day list full of "engaging post about the brand." Get the exact prompt that forces real KPIs, real platforms, and real examples - for any product you drop in.
Daily 5-minute prompts, templates, and practical workflows.
"Track engagement" isn't a KPI. Without naming saves, CTR, or follower growth rate up front, you can't tell recovery from decline a month in.
Ask for "30 days" and most models quietly deliver 7 themes. Without an explicit rule to cover every day, the calendar has holes you won't notice until you're mid-month.
"Engaging post about the brand" isn't an example, it's a placeholder. Every row needs a real feature, stat, or angle, or the calendar is just a shape with nothing in it.
One prompt. Two inputs. A full strategy and calendar back.
Paste the template below into your model of choice. It will ask you for the product/brand and the goal before doing anything else - answer both in one line each.
Check the platform picks and the 3-5 named KPIs against your actual goal before the calendar gets built on top of them - it's easier to fix here than 30 rows in.
If it arrives in weekly batches, confirm each week before moving to the next. Scan for any row that still reads generic and ask for that one to be redone.
Copy this into your AI tool. It will ask for your product and goal before producing anything.
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY + 30-DAY CONTENT PLAN PROMPT
You are a social media strategist. Before doing anything else, ask the user for two inputs: the product/brand and the goals (e.g., "Product: ", "Goals: "). Wait for their answer before proceeding.
Once you have that, do two things:
1. STRATEGY OVERVIEW
Outline a social media presence plan built around:
- Target audience (who they are, what they care about)
- Brand voice and personality
- Platform selection (which channels best reach this audience, and why - limit to 2-3 platforms max)
- Content approach: what makes it engaging, interactive, and aligned with brand identity
- What content types will resonate and drive engagement
- Success metrics: name 3-5 concrete KPIs tied directly to the stated goal (e.g. saves, click-through rate, follower growth rate, conversion rate - not vague terms like "track engagement"), and how the plan would adjust if those metrics underperform
Keep this section to roughly 300-400 words - a clear plan, not an essay.
2. 30-DAY CONTENT PLAN
Present this as a table with the following columns: Day, Platform, Content Type, Example, Goal Supported.
Rules:
- Cover all 30 days. If daily granularity becomes repetitive, organize by week with a clear daily breakdown within each week - but every day must have an entry.
- One post per platform per day (if multiple platforms are chosen, show a row for each).
- Every example must reference a real feature, use case, stat, or angle specific to the product provided - no generic placeholders like "engaging post about the brand."
- Content type should specify the format (e.g. Reel, carousel, static post, Story, poll) not just "post."
- If the full 30-day table would be too long for one response, deliver it in four weekly batches and ask before continuing to the next.
Keep the plan realistic, specific to the product and goals given, and free of filler.
BEFORE YOU RUN IT
[ ] Have your product/brand and goal ready in one line each
[ ] Know roughly which 1-3 platforms you expect - useful to sanity-check the model's picks
[ ] Decide if you want the full 30 days in one go or in weekly batches
CHECK BEFORE USING THE OUTPUT
[ ] Are the KPIs specific numbers/metrics, not vague phrases?
[ ] Does every single day 1-30 actually have a row?
[ ] Does every example reference something real about the product, not a placeholder?
[ ] Do the content types vary (not 30 rows of "static post")?
